Security & Privacy at Availi

Your event information matters.

Last updated 7 September 2026

When you host with Availi you're trusting us with details about your event and the people you've invited. This page explains, in plain language, what information Availi handles, who can see it, and the companies that help us deliver the service. We've kept it factual — there are no security badges or certification claims here, because we'd rather tell you exactly how things work.

Availi is a product of Outsource Advantage, an Australian business, ABN 50 693 789 053. Availi itself is a new product — the ABN and business history belong to Outsource Advantage.

Information Availi may handle

What we hold depends entirely on the features a host chooses to use. Not every event collects every category. Depending on the event, Availi may process:

  • Event information — title, date and time, location, schedule, wording and images.
  • Host account details — name, email address and a securely hashed password (or a Google sign-in).
  • Guest names, including the second name on a shared invitation.
  • RSVP responses — attending, maybe or can't make it.
  • Email addresses or mobile numbers, where a host adds them or a guest provides one.
  • Plus-one and headcount information.
  • Dietary requirements and notes a guest chooses to share.
  • Messages between a host and a guest, and items on a gift registry or "what to bring" list.
  • Anything else a host or guest types into the invitation or RSVP form.

Who can see event information

This is enforced in our database, not just in the app:

  • Hosts can see the guest list, RSVPs, notes and messages for their own events, and nobody else's.
  • Guests can see a published invitation and the details a host chose to show on it. A personalised guest link opens that guest's own invitation and RSVP, and doesn't reveal other guests' contact details.
  • Guest messages to a host are private to that conversation — a guest can only reach their own thread, using a key stored in their own browser.
  • Venue partners using an Availi venue page see counts and summaries only — for example how many people are attending and dietary notes without names attached. Venue partners do not receive guest names or guest contact details.
  • Our team can access data where necessary to run the service, provide support or meet a legal obligation.

Guest information

Guest information exists to run the features the host selected: delivering the invitation, collecting RSVPs, recording plus ones and dietary requirements, tracking who's bringing what, and letting the host message guests about the event.

The host is the person who decides what to collect, and the guest information belongs to them — we process it on their behalf. We do not sell guest information, and we don't use it to market unrelated products to guests. Guest contact details are never shown to other guests or to venue partners.

If you're a guest and want your details removed from an event, the quickest route is to ask the host. You can also email us at support@availi.com.au.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Availi does not store full payment card numbers — card details are entered into Stripe's own secure payment form and handled by Stripe under its own privacy and security practices. We keep a record of what was purchased, the amount and the Stripe reference so we can support you and issue refunds. You can read Stripe's privacy policy for details of how Stripe handles payment information.

Services we use

These are the providers actually used to run Availi in production, and what each is for:

  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
  • Lovable — hosting, the application database and delivery of our emails.
  • Google — optional "Continue with Google" sign-in, and advertising conversion measurement on our website.
  • Twilio — sending invitation and reminder text messages, when a host chooses SMS.
  • Meta (Facebook) — measuring how our advertising performs on our public website.

Each provider only receives what it needs to do its job. Our advertising and measurement tools are used on our public website pages, not to broadcast your event details — see below.

Advertising and website measurement

Availi uses advertising and analytics technologies, including the Meta Pixel and Google advertising tags, to understand activity on our website and measure how well our advertising works. These record website activity such as a page being viewed, a new account being created, or a first event being started.

They do not receive event details, guest names, guest email addresses or mobile numbers, dietary requirements, invitation wording, guest messages or invitation links. Our measurement calls send an event name only — no event or guest content is attached. You can block or clear these cookies in your browser; see our Cookie Policy.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct something that's wrong, or delete your information. Email support@availi.com.au or use the support form, and please write from the email address on the account so we can confirm it's you.

You can also delete your own account from your account settings. Deletion runs with a 30-day grace period: your account is closed and scheduled for permanent removal, and during those 30 days you can reactivate it by signing back in and cancelling the deletion. After the grace period your account and event data are permanently removed. Some records — for example payment and tax records — are kept where the law requires it.

What we don't claim

We won't tell you Availi is "100% secure" or "completely private", because no online service can honestly promise that. Availi holds no ISO, SOC 2 or PCI certification of its own, and we haven't published a third-party penetration test. If any of that changes, this page will say so.

Reporting a problem

If you spot something that looks like a security or privacy problem, please email support@availi.com.au with the details. We'd genuinely rather hear about it.
