Who we are

Availi is a product and brand operated by Outsource Advantage, an Australian business, ABN 50 693 789 053. Outsource Advantage is the data controller responsible for information collected through Availi. You can verify our ABN on the Australian Government ABN Lookup.

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Availi ("we", "us") collects, uses and safeguards information when you use availi.com.au and our services.

Data we collect

  • Account data — your name, email and password hash when you create an Availi account.
  • Event data — event titles, dates, locations and cover images you create.
  • Guest data — names and (optional) contact details guests provide when they RSVP.
  • Billing data — handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage data — anonymous analytics such as page views and device type.

Guest information

Information your guests submit through an Availi invitation belongs to you, the host. We process it on your behalf. We never sell guest data or use it for unrelated marketing.

Payments

Payments made through Availi are processed by Stripe. Availi does not store full payment card numbers. Payment information is processed by Stripe in accordance with Stripe's own privacy and security practices — see Stripe's privacy policy. We keep a record of what was purchased, the amount and the Stripe reference so we can support you and process refunds.

Cookies, advertising and measurement

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and a small number of analytics cookies to understand how the product is used. We also use advertising and measurement technologies on our public website — currently the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Google advertising tags — to understand website activity and measure how well our advertising works. These record website activity such as a page being viewed, an account being created or a first event being started; they do not receive event details, guest names, guest contact details, dietary requirements, invitation wording, guest messages or invitation links. See our Cookie Policy for details and how to control them.

Data storage

Availi data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure and is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to event and guest information is restricted by database-level rules so hosts can only reach their own events. We retain account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure for legal and accounting purposes.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run Availi in production: Stripe (payments), Lovable (hosting, database and email delivery), Google (optional Google sign-in and advertising measurement), Twilio (SMS delivery when a host chooses to text invitations) and Meta (website advertising measurement). Each receives only what it needs to deliver its service and is bound by appropriate data-protection terms.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time through the support form in your account or by emailing support@availi.com.au. Please write from the email address on the account so we can confirm it's you.

You can also delete your account from your account settings. Deletion runs with a 30-day grace period — your account is closed and scheduled for permanent removal, and you can reactivate it within those 30 days by signing back in and cancelling the deletion. After that, your account and event data are permanently removed, except records we're legally required to keep (such as payment and tax records).
